DegDitor v1.1.0: REST API Now Available for Headless Integration

We’re excited to announce the release of DegDitor v1.1.0, a major step forward in making our CMS plugin even more powerful and flexible for modern Sylius projects.
With this release, DegDitor now supports REST API integration, built on top of API Platform, the industry-standard Symfony-based framework for building robust, extendable APIs.
Whether you’re working with a traditional Sylius frontend or going fully headless, this update gives you the tools to retrieve, render, and manage content in a structured and secure way — without compromising developer experience or frontend performance.

🔌 REST API Integration (Built with API Platform)

DegDitor’s new API layer exposes content models, blocks, and pages using RESTful endpoints. You can now:
  • Fetch structured content blocks via API
  • Use filters to retrieve only the content fragments you need
  • Build dynamic menus and layouts powered by CMS data
  • Integrate with frontend frameworks like Next.js, Vue, or any headless stack

🔐 Secure by Default: No More dangerouslySetInnerHTML

Thanks to the adoption of Lexical, a modern rich-text editor from Meta, content is safely parsed and structured.
That means no more dangerouslySetInnerHTML — just clean, structured JSON that can be rendered safely on any frontend.
This makes DegDitor a future-proof solution for headless environments, without the risks of legacy WYSIWYG editors.

The API supports filtering by:
